Women of the Night is an exciting new comedy showcase premiering January 2025. Each month, a brand new lineup of Chicago’s funniest women over 40 regale audiences as they demystify perimenopause, post-divorce dating, and all the other delightful horrors women born in the 1900s endure. Each show also features an “Honorary Biddy,” or a younger comic to keep us all on trend and show us how Snapchat really works. When a woman turns a certain age, society tends to discard them, but Women of the Night is here to show that aging is a superpower that liberates women from giving any f*cks. And there’s simply no one funnier than a woman with no f*cks left to give. Come see for yourself!

1.29.25— ME Time: Process/Recess

Process/Recess is a ritual that exalts play and creation as an ongoing action rather than a static product. Every show, Mary Cait and Emily will invite sketch comics, stand-ups, writers, and other creators to present work that is currently "in process," and then ask those creators about their process. To end the show, Emily and Mary Cait (aka "Me Time") will perform an improv set. This is Recess, play for the sake of play. To begin the ritual each week, all performers will enter in a procession through the audience to the stage, and to end the ritual, the performers (and audience, if they wish), will recess out to the lobby.
