Stories from Menopause, Midlife, and Beyond

Laughs, life lessons, and relatable stories for women who sizzle at any age!

We put conversations about menopause and being a “woman of a certain age” in the spotlight, giving our fears and concerns not just a voice, but a microphone.

Our gifted storytellers will normalize what it means to be a complicated human. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll feel understood.

2nd Story's Season 28 opening event!

6 pm CST @ Haymarket Pub & Brewery

(or stream from home!)

Most of us are familiar with that Robert Frost poem: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by.” But what does that look like, to take the road less traveled?

This season, 2nd Story explores what it means to live a life “on purpose.” For our season opener, Finding Our Way, we’re excited to feature four brand new storytellers, sharing four world premiere stories. These four storytellers all grapple with finding their way in the world, both literally and figuratively. How do we know which path to choose? What happens when we have to take a particular road, whether we wish to or not? And when we do end up on that uncharted path, what it might cost us—or what we might gain—along the way?

Our motto: Good stories are better than good times. We laugh at ourselves and laugh with each other. Everyone has a story to tell. What's yours?
