Sofia Javed is a Chicago-based comedian, storyteller, and writer. She has been a featured performer at comedy festivals across the country, and she debuted her first solo show, Latchkey Larki, in New York City in September 2025. Sofia is a graduate of Niles West High School who has fond memories of after-school time spent at the Skokie Public Library. She is excited to return to Skokie for this one-time performance.
Featuring guest performances by fellow Niles West graduates Archy Jamjun and Eunji Kim:
Archy Jamjun is the curator of Outspoken LGBTQ Stories at the Sidetrack, a monthly storytelling show featuring members of the LBGTQ+ community. He has told stories for over ten years across Chicago as well as the Sierra Storytelling Festival, The Strong Like Bamboo Festival, the National Storytelling Network, and multiple Moth Mainstages. His comedy has been featured in Chicago’s Future of Comedy Festival and his writing has been published by Barrel House, The Rhumpus and Chicago Magazine.
Eunji Kim is a comedian and writer based in Chicago. She was a Senior Writer for Cards Against Humanity and can be seen performing stand-up all over the country (Laugh Factory, Zanies, Helium) and has opened up for national headliners like Fortune Feimster & Dave Attell. Her sold-out solo show entitled, IN BAD TASTE, was a part of Steppenwolf Theater's 2022 LookOut Series. She was a 2017 Bob Curry Fellow at Second City and a featured performer in the 2017 NBCUniversal Break Out Festival. Her TV credits include: Chicago Fire (NBC), Chicago Med (NBC), Work In Progress (Showtime) and Best In Dough (Hulu). She is also the co-host of the critically acclaimed podcast: ‘2 Kims 1 Pod’.

Her Pakistani parents work long hours and her American teachers don’t understand her culture, but Sofia is a girl determined to fit in. Latchkey Larki is a comedy show about a Gen Xer growing up at the crossroads of two cultures…and the television sitcoms that provide her real education.
